As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for a territory of varied accounts which will be managed through a consultancy and partnering approach to design and deliver solutions that will benefit our customers.

Our Sales Representatives are responsible for balancing and managing a territory of well-established accounts with a good installation base with the expectation that they can develop accounts and seek out new customers.

This role is working within out TA Instruments function.

You will be working with thermal analysis and rheology instruments as part of this role, no prior knowledge of these instruments is necessary but it is a bonus.


Responsibilities:


  • Delivering against revenue targets
  • Develop and increase revenue within existing accounts.
  • Seeking out new business and accounts
  • Reviewing and developing your pipeline on a weekly to monthly basis.
  • Regularly meeting with customers in person or virtually to explore avenues of partnering with them as well as introducing new technology.
  • Running events with the marketing team to increase visibility of Waters in order to find new leads and opportunities
  • Ensuring satisfaction of existing user base within your territory in order to retain current business.
Being a Sales Representative involves travel throughout the territory you are assigned; brings you a great degree of flexibility in how you manage your accounts and how you work in the field

This roles territory will cover the north of England, Scotland and the whole of Ireland.


Requirements:


  • You may have worked in a lab previously or had a sales position. Both are great for us in this role
  • Knowledge or a qualification in a Scientific discipline and experience with Thermal or Rheology techniques.
  • Target driven individual who thrives in target driven environments
  • A proactive individual committed to customer service and passionate about making processes more efficient and reliable.
  • Good rapport building skills
  • Great problemsolving skills
