    Social Media Analyst - Research & Analytics, Global PR & Communications Agency

    We are looking for someone with around 2 years' experience within social analytics and data who can build client facing data-led report templates and write for a marketing audience.

    Salary to £35,000 + benefits. 3 days per week required in the London offices.

    A friendly, hard-working and curious team of researchers and analysts from a wide range of backgrounds that conceive and deliver both research, measurement and evaluation strategies for clients and teams across the agency.

    The role

    You will provide research, analytics, and intelligence through the analysis of social, media and digital conversations, by leveraging syndicated / published research, and via primary research methods (both quantitative and qualitative). Under the direction of the senior team, you'll translate this understanding into specific and actionable recommendations within reporting and other analytics deliverables.

    About you

    • Comfortable using a variety of analytics and audience tools including, but not limited to, Talkwalker, LexisNexis, GlobalWebIndex, Cision, Stylus, and Statista.
    • Good knowledge of social platform operations (algorithms, API integrations, available features & analytics, etc).
    • Understand the latest social platforms trends & roadmaps, and how these impact both content creation and data-driven strategy recommendations.
    • Understand the social content creation process: from content strategy implementation, content calendar planning through to content publishing natively and via Sprinklr.
    • Understand and can use typical social and marketing terminology (e.g. A/B testing, conversion paths, PPC, CTR, evergreen content, dark post, geotargeting etc.)
    • Understand best practice metrics for the top social platforms, and the process for setting objective-led benchmarks and KPIs.
    • Can independently export data, create reports, and analyse findings using native analytics for Meta platforms, LinkedIn, TikTok and Reddit
    • Can setup dashboards, widgets and export and analyse findings using Sprinklr.
    • Can independently use social listening tools to set up search queries, dashboards, widgets and extract data.
    • Can independently turn data findings into trends and recommendations for social marketing strategy.
