    Mechanical Engineer
    Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Bristol.

    Established more than 60 years ago, they are the partner of choice for aerospace customers and OEM's around the world supporting and supplying established aircraft parts.

    The Mechanical Engineer will join the team to support their continued success and ambitious growth plans. This is a permanent position working Monday- Friday with flexible start/ finish times, working a 37 hour week.

    Please note that the post holder would be expected on site full time, there is no hybrid working available with this role.

    As a Mechanical Engineer you will be providing technical support to the UK Operations teams, external suppliers and customers.

    You will provide support for products throughout the lifecycle from NPI to retirement and provide technical support to all internal and external customers and stakeholders.

    You will review technical specifications and ensure product conformance to design and manage major and minor changes using the Engineering Change Notice workflow.

    You'll need to have a degree or equivalent in a Mechanical discipline or significant industry experience with good educational standards and be able to demonstrate experience in a technical support/ Mechanical Engineering role in a manufacturing environment, ideally within Aerospace.

    Well developed communication skills with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and competent with MS Office and ERP systems.

    You will be able to take change in your stride and be comfortable working at pace under tight deadlines, with the flexibility to travel on occasion and work outside core hours to support business priorities if required.
