Head of Transformation | c£60,000 | Charity & Not for Profit sector | Yorkshire / hybrid working


It's an exciting time to join our client, a charity operating globally, as they enhance their operating model and stand-up their Digital Transformation agenda.

One of their key projects is the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics to upgrade their existing CRM.

This Dynamics 365 CRM will be fundamental to the management of multiple aspects of their business, but crucially to develop a seamless and simple experiencefor givers and recipients.

It will also enable the build of scalable services which will support the charity's ambitious plans for growth.


This opportunity could suit an existing Head of Transformation, or a proven Project/Programme Manager looking to build their experience at an enhanced level.


You'll plan and oversee the D365 CRM system build, overseeing development sprints ensuring supplier/SI project managers have the information they need to move forward.

You'll be the key link between business Product Owners and the development/build team.

You can expect your responsibilities to also include:

  • Manage and coordinate internal stakeholders.
  • Overview the build phase ensuring progress is made in line with the overall programme plan, and manage the offshore implementation partner.
  • Plan and translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements. Elicit requirements from nontechnical members of staff.
  • Manage the product backlog, project sprints, and ensure timely delivery by working with all relevant parties.
  • Ensure appropriate change management process is embedded for future system. developments Manage and identify project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Support testing phase by overseeing definition of testing needs and testing activities via Test Manager(s).
  • Work with the implementation partner and trainers to ensure training materials, user guides and practical training is in place and delivered for end users.
  • Work with the Project Lead and CRM Admin to ensure adequate resource is assigned to the Project.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with data security, privacy, and integrity. Maintain up to date Project Risk Register and mitigating actions taken.
  • Manage the budget for the project including agreeing internal and external resourcing. Requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate project and system documentation are in place at all stages of the project, producing progress updates and reports for senior management team and governance boards.

Our client is looking for

  • Proven project management experience, including Agile delivery. At least 1 full endtoend implementation of a CRM project as a programme or project manager.
  • Welldeveloped communication skills and stakeholder management including C-Suite, shareholders and external stakeholders.
  • P&L Accountability of an offshore delivery centre.
  • Excellent knowledge of agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe) particularly with governance of globally distributed teams.
  • Commercial skills including negotiating contracts.
  • Technical knowledge of CRM products (preferably D365).
  • Exposure to charity sector.
