    Position Summary:

    The Claims Analyst/Specialist will assist with the claims management for property lines of insurance with the goal of monitoring loss reserves, achieving cost effective results and submitting claims in a timely manner. This position will also assist with the firms claims driven data management and analytical efforts to support internal parties and prevent future losses.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    ·Process submissions within the claims process lifecycle (i.e. FNOL) for agencies and insureds assigning to the appropriate claim's firm.

    ·Respond to requests from agencies and insureds for help in understanding a specific claim. Handle requests from claims adjusters for assistance in gathering additional data or documentation around a specific claim.

    ·Work with adjusters, policyholders and other parties to administrate submissions for current losses and prevent future losses.

    ·Review and interpret adjuster reports and provide necessary information to various parties upon inquiry.

    ·Interpret policy coverages and be able to explain basic policy provisions

    ·Agency and partner support

    ·Customer support and service level oversight

    ·Examiner support

    Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • A current Florida 6-20 License, as required by the State Department of Insurance to service clients or be willing and able to obtain required licenses within the first 2 years of employment.
  • ·Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant years' experience will be considered.

    ·At least two years of experience desired within a client/customer facing or support role is preferred.

    ·Ability to drive a claim from initial opening and noticing through to satisfactory closure.

    ·Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Word and Excel with the ability to learn new system technologies.

    ·Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments, seeking guidance where needed.

    ·Provide the highest quality support to stakeholder groups, TPA's, adjusters and customers through effective communication, attention to detail, organization and diligent follow-up.

    ·Strong communication skills with proven ability to be professional under pressure and display a high level of patience.
