    The Commercial Learning and Development Sr. Manager/Associate Director will be responsible for building and directing the Learning & Personal Development curriculum for the US organization.

    This person has the opportunity to work strategically with key stakeholders across the company and use their experience to create an efficient, creative and effective curriculum, for a product or group of products, as well as developing and implementing the overall training strategy and personal development for US Commercial organization.

    The Commercial Learning and Development Sr. Manager/Associate Director will foster Autolus employee's workplace efficiency and proficiency standards ensuring that Autolus staff receive effective targeted training and development.

    The Commercial Learning and Development Sr. Manager/Associate Director will focus on optimizing learning and development process, with timely and accurate training programs set in place before hand of their need, as well as adapting such programs to current trends and ad hoc needs, as may deem appropriate and directed by different stakeholders.

    The Commercial Learning and Development Sr. Manager/Associate Director will play a key role in developing and fostering relationships with external and internal Learning and Development vendors by developing, implementing, and leading an innovative training and education strategy that draws on industry best practice to facilitate the transfer of relevant technical knowledge to support the delivery of business objectives across all commercial functions.

    The Commercial Learning and Developments Sr. Manager/Associate Director will act as an instructional designer and apply adult learning principles to construct and update ongoing programs to help achieve corporate objectives, as well as conduct ongoing environmental scanning of potential learning gaps throughout the field, through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and other partners, to design and deploy targeted programs that reduce knowledge gaps and enhance field effectiveness through improvement of competencies.
