    What's in it for you?

    We are looking for a superstar for the front of house team to provide day to day support to the business, greeting clients and other visitors in a busy reception.

    This role offers the opportunity to work in a lively reception where you will come up with ideas on how to improve reception and be the face of the company.

    The team:

    The Office Management team is a close-knit team responsible for making the offices at 33 Holborn such a great environment to work in.

    The services provided include Reception, Meeting Room Management, Post, Catering, Cleaning, Pest Control, Maintenance, Furniture and Moves.

    In addition, they own the relationship with our Landlords and look after the accommodation needs of the investee companies we provide accommodation to.

    What will you be doing?

    • This is a client facing role where you will provide a warm and friendly welcome to external parties, offering refreshments and ensuring you 'WOW' them on arrival.
    • Managing meeting room diaries and room setups and taking pride in maintaining the tidy and immaculate presentation of the reception area and meeting rooms.
    • You will manage incoming Special Delivery post & provide post distribution instructions for the buildings mailroom team, as well as coordinate UK & international couriers.
    • There are a lot of ad-hoc requests and responsibilities that make up this role – this could include helping logistically with internal & external events, facilities tasks, managing the stationery cupboard, organising lockers, business cards and recognition cheques.
    • You will work closely with stakeholders that include in-house caterers, the buildings security and reception teams and managing external supplier contracts (cleaning, catering and plants).
    • Managing budgets and raising POs using our Proactis system.
    Qualifications

    Ideally, you'll have:

    Experience talking to people gained through a high-end client facing environment such as reception, hospitality or air crew.

    You will love being the face of Octopus and be able to work under pressure and calmly deal with difficult situations or clients

    Confident, proactive, and an ability to use common sense and prioritise when faced with problems.

    Exceptional attention to detail.

    Computer literate, essential: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams.
