New Beginnings are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, competent person to join their small but forward-thinking team.New Beginnings is one of the most respected Former Racehorse Retraining Centres in the country, with a reputation to be proud of.This position is for a positive, confident individual to help with the retraining programme for our former racehorses and manage their daily routine.You should have an understanding of, and be able to work with, varied personalities of horses. You will be able to work as part of an existing team and on your own intuitive too.Experience of working with thoroughbreds, green horses and being competent with groundwork and schooling is essential. Ideally you can turn out to a high standard too.Our main criteria though is a passion, drive and love of horses and the desire to be involved in the aftercare of thoroughbreds once they have finished their first career in racing, to give them a 'Life Past the Post'.There will be the opportunity to fly the flag for New Beginnings, competing our horses, attending racecourses to promote our work, including ridden parades, and showcasing our ambassadors.We are offering a rewarding, varied role, 35 hours a week, days and hours to be negotiated with the right candidate.
