PURPOSE OF ROLE:


Reporting to the Head of Brand, the Brand Copywriter will support in the development and implementation of the brand tone of voice and delivery of copy requirements across campaign, product, customer/colleague touchpoints.


Requirements:


KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:


  • Support the development and roll out of the ii brand tone of voice working alongside the ii Brand Manager to champion this across the organisation
  • Write clear, compelling copy for multiple campaign types, in alignment with marketing calendar
  • Collaborate with design team to develop copy aligned to creative idea
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed
  • Champion TOV and the implementation of processes to ensure there is alignment across all marketing, PR, HR, product and wider ii activities
  • Maintain the first line of compliance defence by ensuring individual adherence to business processes and procedures that are designed to meet the regulatory standards set out in the relevant FCA rules and guidance
  • Treat customers fairly at all times
  • Use the training and competence scheme to maintain the appropriate knowledge, skills, and expertise to carry out the role competently

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Proven experience as a copywriter or related role (Financial Services experience is beneficial but not essential)
  • Excellent writing skills, spelling, and grammar
  • Have the skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts.
  • Experience with SEO
  • Experience of copy development and delivery across the full marketing channel mix
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Resilience under pressure and against deadlines
  • Used to delivering creative excellence
  • Experience of a high level of multitasking and a fastmoving environment. Ability to juggle multiple creative projects at various lifecycle stages under intense deadlines is critical
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and initiative
