Change Financial Services are currently working with our Glasgow City Centre client to recruit a payroll specialist to their team.
Initially on a 12 month interim basis but with scope to convert to a permanent role, the successful candidate will be responsible for taking a lead role with the processing of UK and International payroll with in and outsourced elements as well as providing payroll support and advice to the business.
Applicants must have UK payroll experience and experience working on complex multi-payrolls with both UK exposure. Part of a team with responsibility for processing of the PayrollManaging and ensuring the accurate and prompt receipt of data
Engaging with stakeholders to reconcile and review data inputs
Processing of payroll on a monthly basis with accurate recording of amendments and adjustments
Review and processing of pensioner payroll
Ensuring correct deductions applied to staff payroll as required
Responding to internal payroll queries from the business
Posting of payroll journals to the general ledger
Ad hoc duties and project involvement as required
Applicants for this role will be able to draw from a wealth of payroll experience, and provide oversight to junior members in the team, supervising and acting as point of escalation for queries.
Having exposure to international payroll would be advantageous, as well as working with bureau providers.In return the successful applicant will get the chance to work with a leading employer in Glasgow and potentially transition in to a permanent post.
