We have opportunities for people with excellent organisational and administrative skills to join us on the MEH Alliance in the position of Labelling Works Coordinator.

Due the scale of the Hinkley Point C construction project, we nearly to design, produce andinstall nearly a million labels to cabling, terminations and containment systems.

This role will play a key part in that team.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the creation of label schedules to include information gathering, label production (on/ off Site) and installation on site.
Communicating all necessary information to label production and installation team including specifications and work instructions to facilitate performance and maximise opportunity.
Liaising with the site team and Client's representation. Attending progress meetings as required.
Liaising with the Label Production team and Installation Team. To capture installation needs and coordinate with production team to get the right products to achieve installation.
Key player to help label production team to produce labels as per the installation sequence.
Completing any other duties as required in relations to skills, activities, status etc as required by the labelling team.
Liaising with necessary SME's and client counterparts
To support the MEH quality team to develop inspection and test plans for the manufacture of labels.

Requirements:

Proficient use of IT and MS Office software
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
A background in construction and/or engineering, ideally with some understanding and experience of labelling systems within construction projects.

NG Bailey on the Hinkley Point C Project

We are working across both Hinkley Point C units to deliver the infrastructure that will power the station and its operations, creating 1,000 jobs including many specialist engineers.

Works include the design and installation of circa 76,000 cables totalling over 3,000km in length; over 180km of cable containment support systems; fire and environmental sealing; design and installation of earthing systems, and specialist packages associated with data acquisition and plant control.
