Description

Temporary role available to work in our Shipping office at Wick, BS30 5SJ.

The role will be week to week ongoing, starting ASAP, all training will be completed on site in Wick office.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Take customer orders for locally shipped plants through multichannel (telephone and digital)
Manage programmed orders and services
Manage plant and truck capacities daily in line with targets KPIs
Ensure product is despatched to the customer on time
Liaise with plant managers and hauliers to ensure smooth running of daily operations
Modify inprocess orders at customer request
Work proactively to establish the feasibility of customer requests
Plan future plant and truck availability.
Manage late loads including a timely notification of these issues to all the relevant parties.
Work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure that orders are dealt with in accordance guidelines.
Proactively resolve customer issues/complaints or changes in the requested order
Identify the need for order renegotiation.
Contribute to ongoing process improvements by identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase quality and efficiency

Experience & Qualification:

Excellent customer service skills
RMX / SAP experience desirable
Experience of planning workload of drivers / despatch of products would be an advantage
Experience of the Gloucester / Cheltenham / Witney geographical area desirable
Experience of driver hours regulations desirable
Experience of working in fast paced / high call traffic environment essential
Digital Savvy
