    Class Teacher (initially based in KS2)

    Permanent - Full Time to start from 1st September 2024

    Salary: Main range M1 – UPR1 (£30,000 - £43,266)

    This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, imaginative and driven teacher who works with equal efficacy independently and as part of a team. Applicants will join an innovative, forward-thinking and committed team. The position would suit dynamic teachers who are able to inspire pupils to develop a love of learning and fulfil their full potential.

    Experience of teaching in KS2 is essential as is a thorough up-to-date knowledge and experience of the curriculum (This post is suitable for both experienced teachers or newly qualified teachers). What is also important is your ability to interact and support children from our diverse school community in a positive way to foster their enthusiasm for learning and maximise their progress across the curriculum. Experience of communicating with parents and carers is essential.

    The successful candidate will:

  • Have high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour.
  • Be an excellent teacher with the ability to improve attainment, maximise progress and demonstrate an understanding of how children learn.
  • Understand the importance of using assessment for learning to raise standards and improve pupil achievement.
  • Lead by example, inspiring and motivating children and colleagues.
  • Support the Principal and leaders at all levels in implementing the school vision.
  • Develop and support teaching and learning in the academy.
  • Applicants should be excellent teachers and be innovative and creative in their approach to learning.
