Senior Naval Architect/Structural Engineer

£50 - £55 per hour

Aberdeen

Monday to Friday

Our client is a vibrant collective of engineering experts, implementation specialists, data scientists and commercially astute business professionals.

Their CEO believes in the philosophy that asset management should always be about finding the most cost-effectiveway to safely maintain assets at their profit centre.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and approve risk assessments for hull, topsides structure and mooring systems.
Develop and maintain marine and structuralspecific integrity management strategy documentation.
Develop inspection and repair workbooks and; specifications for vessel structures and marine piping systems.
Provide assessment and recommendations for effectively dealing with emergent defects.
Technical review of inspection data, and vessel analyses, to inform and update asset risk modelling.
Provide marine and structural technical information to assist in the preparation of proposals for bids and tenders.

Requirements:

6 years' experience in Naval Architecture/Structural Engineering or similar Marine Engineering role
BEng in Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering, Marine Engineering or similar discipline
Understanding of corrosion, fatigue, and other integrity threats to marine and/or structural assets.
