Our client based in Reading is now looking for a skilled Upholsterer to join the team.2 years exp in making office furniture needed.

Salary:
From £26-£32K pa depending on experience based on experienceWorking hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-16:00 (44 hours per week)

Products:
Office FurnitureDuties: * Cut and apply foam and upholstery fabric * Experience working with a variety of upholstery materials * Sewing and cutting skills * Strip down and re-upholster furniture, using supplied and own-made templates * Apply buttoning and cushioning * Use hand and air compressor tools * Fix webbing and springs into seats * Cover frames with padding and fabric using sewing machines, stitches, staples, tacks and glue * Use decorative techniques such as fringing, piping and buttoning * Renovate and re-upholstering old furniture * Cut wood to replace damaged seat boards etc
