Job Introduction

An opportunity has arisen for a Craftsperson Overhead Lines (Predominately Towers) based within the Projects Worcester team - working in Hereford, Ludlow, Gloucester and Worcester areas.


In this role you will be required to undertake construction, maintenance, replacement and repair of overhead lines up to and including 132kV.


Evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to appointment.


If you are offered a position, you will be required to successfully complete a basic DBS check that shows any unspent convictions or conditional cautions.

If not already attained you will be required to study for the relevant City & Guilds 2339 Level 2 qualification and complete TAR, which includes daily diary completion and a number of tasks and reports as required.


You must be able to work on your own initiative as part of a small team, making on the spot decisions as required and working to tight deadlines.

A flexible attitude is essential, as you will be required to undertake other duties to assist the team in meeting its objectives.

In addition, you will need to be mobile throughout the area as you may be required to undertake standby duties.


Please note, where job roles involve working at height and the use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment, there are restrictions on the maximum weight of the individual.
