Trading Counterparty Onboarding Specialist:

Our client is a global trading firm dealing in Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, ETFs, Commodities, FX and Crypto Currencies.

This team is responsible for managing all counterparty onboarding processes from front-to-back to facilitate new trading activity and to improve existing trading activity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of counterparty onboardings and refreshes from end to end.
• Work directly with counterparties to ensure all information is received and circulated.
• Analyse and scrutinize all information received from the counterparty to ensure accuracy.
• Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Credit, Tax and Trading to ensure onboarding is running smoothly.
• Keep close contact with trading teams and stakeholders to ensure they are informed of the status throughout the entire onboarding process.
• Recommend, develop, and implement solutions to support continuous improvement to processes and procedures.

• Degree in Finance, Business, Legal Studies, and/or similar subject.
• 1-5 years of relevant counterparty onboarding experience, preferably working in financial services, compliance, or legal environment.
• Ability to effectively analyse counterparty information and documentation to facilitate account opening.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of financial industry products and trends.
• Strong relationship management skills.
