Senior Design or Principal Design Engineer is required to join one of the UK's leading engineering contractors This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on some of London's most landmark superstructure projects.

The successful Design Engineer's will be instrumental in the conceptualisation and execution of structural designs, ensuring that each project not only meets but exceeds expectations. This role demands a meticulous approach to the creation of detailed design plans, simulations, and documentation for various superstructure projects.

To excel in this role, a robust background in structural engineering is essential, preferably within the context of major large- scale superstructure projects. Your technical proficiency should be complemented by a proven track record in leading design teams and delivering projects that meet and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed structural designs for large-scale projects

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural elements with other components

Perform simulations and stress analysis to ensure safety and compliance

Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical advice

Utilise CAD software and other design tools to create precise engineering drawings

Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations
