What they need -A UX specialist who has experience redesigning existing products, spotting the quick win opportunities as well as longer term design opportunities to enhance the customer journey Someone who's confident conducting user research, who can lead interviews with customers as well as present back their findings and recommendations to the senior leadership teamA digital native who puts the customer at the heart of every design decision they make, identifying opportunities for site improvements to continually enhance the platformSomeone who works capably alongside product & dev teams, and can influence strategy and the product roadmap from a UX/UI perspective A designer who can elevate the customer portal to the same level of excellence as the data and insight they provide their customers - driving UCD principles for the business What you're great at -Deep diving into the complexities of how customers use the data & insights the business provides to make strong UX design recommendationsConducting, interpreting and reporting back on usability research & testing, transforming those insights Implementing UX best practice in design processes to drive site enhancements across the business Collaborating with technical teams as well as your product counterparts to communicate your design thinking and drive usability best practice across the portal Identifying UX design improvements, for both immediate and long term projects What you'll get –You must be able to get to the MANCHESTER HQ 3 days pw (living in commutable distance)Flexible/hybrid working (number of office days open to discussion on a case by case basis)Bonus Private Healthcare 2 weeks per year - work from anywhere
