    Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in children, including neurodevelopmental disorders
    At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) of which at least 2 years will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee or shall have equivalent experience and competencies

    We are currently recruiting for a Community CAMHS Specialty Doctor position in the Ashford CAMHS Community Team, based at Lenworth Clinic, 329 Hythe Road, Ashford, Kent TN24 0QE .

    This is an established post, that has become vacant due to the postholder taking up a more senior position.

    6wte substantive CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

    Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Ashford.

    Provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases.

    Work directly with children and young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers, and acute hospitals.

    Work alongside the CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists within the service.
    Develop links already established with the local acute trusts A& E departments and inpatient wards.
    Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies.
