Temporary Work Manager - United Kingdom - Janikin Energy

Description

Janikin Energy are in partnership with one of the industry-leading Zero Harm safety platform companies, they require a Subcontracts Manager to oversee a oil and gas project for an initial 6 month contract period that has an immediate start.

The Subcontracts Manager will be responsible for managing subcontractor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that subcontracted work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, contract management, and supplier relationship management within the oil and gas industry.

Plan and schedule installation activities, including material procurement, manpower allocation, and project timelines.
Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project feasibility and identify potential challenges.
Ensure that technical and commercial negotiation evaluations and strategies are carried out in a timely manner.
Plan, develop and execute Post award Contract management activities.
Responsible for Contract Close out.
Report Contract progress from Pre to Post Award, through Project Systems.

Minimum of 7 years in developing and executing Contracts & Procurement within Oil & Gas projects

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; In-depth knowledge of contracting principles, commercial terms, and legal requirements applicable to subcontracting in the oil and gas sector.
