    TT Games was acquired by Warner Bros. in 2007 and went on to develop the hit LEGO games franchise. The company is proud to continue its mission to be the leading publisher of interactive entertainment for young gamers and their families.

    TT Games are looking for a Senior Level Designer with proven level design experience on console or PC titles, to take on a key role on an exciting new LEGO game based on a major IP.

    Your Role Accountabilities...

    • You will design and build high quality levels which support the vision and creative pillars of the game and IP
    • You will follow the direction of the lead level designer. Via regular reviews you will iterate on feedback from the Design Director, lead level designer, other disciplines, and user research, to meet the agreed quality bar.
    • You will closely collaborate with other disciplines, (gameplay coders, & environment artists), understanding their role and building a positive relationship to ensure that they are involved in the level design process.
    • You will follow level design best practice, and make suggestions on how to improve the level design workflow for your team
    • You will ensure your work maintains stability & quality throughout development
    • You will work with the production teams & lead level designer to verify that your task estimations are reasonable, communicating on progress and delivering your work to deadlines at quality.
    • You will mentor more junior members of the level design team.
    • You will play the game regularly, providing feedback in a clear and constructive manner,
    • You will encourage a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and respect.

    Qualifications & Experience...

    • Proven experience in level design on AAA action-adventure titles, with at least one title shipped in a senior level design position on console or PC.
    • A broad knowledge of all aspects of game and level design with a strong understanding of layout, architectural composition, combat and encounter design, balancing, flow, difficulty, progression & usability.
    • You should be able to describe approaches and techniques that create engaging and fun levels in modern games
    • Understanding player motivations and psychology
    • A passion for creating fun and accessible games for children and families.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)
    • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
    • Experience of scripting gameplay and levels, ideally in Blueprint
    • Experience of games development and shipped at least one action or action/adventure title on console or PC title.
    • Ability to take direction and feedback well and self-critique.
    • Experience of UE4/ UE5 an advantage
