    Position Overview:

    We're in search of either a junior or senior stimator to become an integral part of the project planning and pricing team. As the company expands, this role presents a thrilling chance for a motivated professional to make a significant impact.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Analysis: Thoroughly evaluate project requirements and specifications to grasp scope and deliverables.

    Cost Estimation: Accurately calculate material, labor, and ancillary costs associated with steel fabrication projects of varying complexities.

    Bid Development: Craft precise and competitive bids and proposals for potential projects. Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing for materials and services.

    Cost Management: Monitor project expenses throughout their lifecycle, providing regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.

    Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and uncertainties in estimates, proposing effective mitigation strategies.

    Database Maintenance: Maintain and update a comprehensive database of costs, pricing, and project-related information. Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure comprehensive and accurate project estimates.

    Required Qualifications:

    Proven track record as an Estimator in the steel fabrication industry.

    In-depth understanding of steel fabrication processes and materials.

    Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.

    Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

    Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    Keen attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
