Must hold advanced Pension related qualification AF7 or equivalent
Previous experience in a Pension Transfer role would be desirable
Great communication skills
Strong numeracy skills, with excellent attention to detail
Good IT skills
Previous experience in a Pension Transfer role would be desirable

Role:

An established and highly regarded IFA firm, who pride themselves on giving the best advice to both private and corporate clients, is now looking for an experienced Pension Transfer Specialist to join their growing firm based near Newcastle.

The role will be office based with flexible working hours, where you will work alongside the company's diligent Advisers and Paraplanners, where you will be responsible for pre-sale advice checking, as well as sign-off on the transfer of Defined Benefit Pension schemes for retail investment clients.

Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing of pension scheme information, carrying out any analysis needed (including cash flow modelling)
Ensure all client information is correct and uptodate
Provide recommendations for pension transfers
Prepare client reports for pension switches and transfers,
Review and sign off client reports and advice
Communicate with Advisers, keeping uptodate of any outstanding requirements and progress
Liaise directly with pension providers to gather information as required
Provide responses to technical queries
Ensure all paperwork is compliant and adheres to FCA guidelines

Qualifications:

Must hold G60/AF3/AF7 or equivalent
