Salary:
£39,748 to £44,166 per annum (dependent on skills and experience). A
Specialist Allowance of up to £4000 per annum is also available for this role.

Hours:
Full time or Part Time (minimum 30 hours per week)

The role is based in a multidisciplinary environment, and you will work alongside software developers, mathematicians, image analysis specialist and experimentalists to design, develop and enhance a suite of high-end image analysis and visualization softwareand technologies on variety of projects supporting the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source (ISIS), Diamond Light Source (DLS), the Central Laser Facility (CLF) and the
wider UK CT community.

and strong software development capabilities to adapt and expand their expertise in the
field of tomographic imaging.

Working background in CT is not an essential requirement, but a passion for science and your own continual improvement is.

Essential:_

Proven ability to deliver on software development in research projects
Excellent knowledge of programming languages, e.g. Python, C++
The ability and confidence to relay & exchange technical information with
people from a variety of backgrounds in a variety of forms
Demonstrable experience of working with drive, determination, ownership
and responsibility
