- Coordinate and assist SSOW/ Risk Assessment/ SOP / COSHH review and development.
- Coordinate all contractor permits, inductions, risk assessments, method statements, keeping contractor database updated and files stored correctly.
- Receive, identify and store appropriately engineering materials/spares.
- Maintain stock levels on all items and order replacements as required, perform scheduled stock checks and audit spares transaction activity.
- Work with the maintenance supervisor to prepare planned maintenance activities and maximise productivity of maintenance engineers - parts, permits, RAMS, schedules etc.
- Liaise with third parties to find solutions to non-critical engineering issues.
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure they are closed out to set timescales.
- Determined, reliable personality with a genuine desire to improve self and the department.
- Good computer literacy - Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- CMMS system experience - Preferably Shire (Piranha).
- Knowledge of engineering disciplines would be an advantage.
- The ability to identify engineering parts from drawings would be an advantage.
- Salary £32k-£38k
