    Head of Group FP&A

    Manchester

    Up to £110,000 + package

    Partner Financial are working with a large ecommerce business to search for a Head of Group FP&A to join the finance team in Manchester. Our client is currently implementing a change programme and is embarking on an exciting phase of their business strategy.

    Supporting the growth of the company, this position will lead the Group FP&A team and will be instrumental in fostering a closer collaboration between finance and the broader business. It will drive continuous improvement, automation and will ensure the optimal execution of all Group financial performance reporting, forecasting and analysis.

    The key responsibilities will be:

    • Supervise, prepare, and analyse the consolidated budgeting and planning for the business and its subsidiaries.
    • Develop a structured management information dashboard, encompassing KPIs, to furnish insights that supports business decision-making.
    • Create robust financial models and conduct analysis to facilitate critical business decision support and formulate future strategies.
    • Assess and question individual and divisional quarterly forecasts, budgets, and plans to drive strategic outcomes for the group.
    • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities in scenario planning to the senior leadership team.
    • Aggregate detailed cashflows, forecasts, budgets, long-range plans, and KPI variance analyses, identifying key trends for various organizational scenarios.
    • Oversee the long-range plan processes with a focus on strategy.
    • Lead and nurture a team, fostering their professional development.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
    • Demonstrated success in managing a robust FP&A function within a fast-paced business environment.
    • Prior experience in ecommerce is essential.
    • Exceptional financial modelling skills and a penchant for financial analysis.
    • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for articulating analysis and information clearly and concisely.
    • Proficient IT skills with a continuous improvement mindset towards processes.
    • A driven individual who provides valuable and insightful information to stakeholders.
    • Organised and self-motivated, capable of working independently and ensuring adherence to assigned task deadlines.
    • Effective team leader, capable of motivating teams to deliver and improve continuously.
