    Senior Finance Manager

    Based - Bangor, North Wales.

    Salary – up to £60k pa

    Duties & Responsibilities


    Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred with a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience is required.

    Certification, formal training, education or demonstrated competency may be evaluated and considered in lieu of the experience requirements. You must be able to travel throughout Europe as required.


    • Prior experience supervising, overseeing or directly managing a team of employees
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required
    • High level of initiative, ability to motivate others and be able to effectively manage a large workload
    • The ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English
    sufficiently well to perform the duties of this position and have the ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with internal and external parties


    • Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
    • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and levels of accuracy
    Essential Functions


    • Manages Department personnel, which involves direct and indirect responsibilities for
    interviewing, selection, training, motivating, and performance evaluations


    • Assigns and allocates work in a manner that utilizes employee's strengths to efficiently
    maintain operations


    • Develops operations processes and procedures to enhance efficiencies in the Department
    • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all work performed
    • Handles escalated Department questions or issues
    • Sets clear goals by communicating job expectations, appraising work performance and
    consistently providing honest positive and negative feedback to employees


    • Provides employees with resources, training, and support necessary to complete work
    assignments


    • Consistently reviews, approves, and submits administrative work prior to established due
    dates, including, but not limited to, timecards and time off.


    • Experience using accounting software will be required
