    TheNorth Cumbria Crisis Team have Full Time and Part Time Vacancies - based at Carelton Clinic in Carlilse and Lillyhall in Workington.

    The post holder will be part of a team working under the crisis model and pathway, offering a 24/7 service as an alternative to hospital admission.

    The successful candidate must have experience of working with individuals with a variety of mental health needs, and ideally have a track record of clinical experience in working with risk and complexity.

    The role requires sound clinical skills in all aspects of triage, assessment, formulation, management of risk and therapeutic interventions.

    You would be working within a multi disciplinary team that are motivated in delivering high quality care for patients at home, with an aim to provide an alternative to hopsital admission.

    The successful candidate will be expected to complete all aspects of Crisis work, including the triaging of referrals, completion of holistic and comprehensive assessments and the treatment of patients who are in mental health crisis within their home environment.

    The successful candidate will also be expected to coordinate the shifts and manage the competing demands for the service.

    Evidence of post-registration training in clinical/ psychological interventions / skills relevant to the post
    Awareness and understanding of professional accountability, NMC standards and other local and national initiatives.
    ~Proven ability to complete comprehensive assessment of complex mental health needs

    This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
