£22,000 - £25,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 10am - 6pm

The Delivery Co-ordinator will join the existing dispatch department of one of the UKs leading manufacturers within the construction industry.

The role will see you schedule delivery according to the route as well as assign each driver onto daily delivery routes.

As a Delivery Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Update customers with their delivery confirmation the day before and on the day
  • Ensure all dispatch paperwork is completed and correctly filed
  • Assign fitters to delivery customer installations as well as assigning drivers to daily delivery runs
  • Liaise with the customer to advise on any issue with production that may affect delivery slot
  • Work closely with the Factory Manager to ensure goods out/returns are monitored, managed, and reported
  • Liaise with third party suppliers to ensure packaging required is scheduled and suitable for transport (such as international shipping, pallets, and stillages)
  • Good IT skills including competence in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High standard of communication, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience scheduling and geographic routing is an advantage
