Test Consultant required for a global consultancy firm partnering with world leading clients.

Working with teams of testing experts on varied and challenging projects, the company offers a dynamic and exciting career opportunity.

The company prides itselfon internal growth and training and is unrivalled by other consultancies. They are seeking to recruit an Automation Test Consultant to join the growing team in their Testing Practice.
The role can be based out of their offices in Newcastle, but there will be flexible working.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong technical background
  • Strong manual test experience
  • Webbased testing experience
  • Experience in creating manual and automated test scripts
  • Experience of using SQL to interrogate, create and update data
  • Experience of Java/Selenium preferable
  • Experience of creating test scripts and defects in a structured manner
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and web platforms
  • ISEB Foundation Certified in Software Testing or ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester
Foundation Level
Main Duties

As a Test Consultant you will play an integral role in creating and executing manual system tests, creating and running automated regression tests with the ability to lead others.

You will be responsible for liaising with key stakeholders and working closelywith the development team to resolve any defects.
