    Job Title:
    Secondary School Sports Coach (Part-Time, Potential for Full-Time)

    Location:
    Northampton

    Schedule:
    Mondays & Fridays (Part-Time), with potential for expansion to full-time

    This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with coaching experience to develop their skills and make a positive impact on students' lives.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead sports-based activities and coaching sessions for students aged 11-16, fostering a love for physical activity and sportsmanship.
    Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
    Assist in the organization and delivery of school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
    Support students in developing their skills, confidence, and teamwork abilities through positive reinforcement and encouragement.

    Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive school culture, emphasizing the importance of sports and physical activity in education.


    Requirements:
    Previous experience in coaching or leading sports activities, with a strong passion for working with young people.
    Comfortable teaching and interacting with students aged 11-16, with the ability to manage behavior effectively in a classroom setting.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
    Ideally, hold a current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
    A proactive and enthusiastic approach to professional development, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
