This post involves ensuring an enjoyable, safe and sociable lunchtime for all pupils.


The duties include setting up for lunchtime, supervising children eating, serving hot meals, clearing up afterwards and putting tables and chairs away.

Occasionally there may be a need to supervise on the playground.

Basic health and hygiene training will be given.

We are seeking to appoint an excellent lunchtime supervisor who:

  • Holds an NVQ3 or equivalent experience;
- a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school

  • Has an empathic and nurturing nature;
  • Is enthusiastic, committed and professional;
  • Can use their initiative;
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Has a positive attitude and sense of humour.
