Job DescriptionOur International Team is looking for a German Speaking Customer Service / Quoting Specialist

This is a hybrid role with a 50 / 50 split between working from home and in our office in Bury. The Role:
As a key part of our customer service team, you will be at the forefront of providing excellent service to our customers within EMEA region. Your focus will be on processing, managing and successfully resolving customer enquiries in German and English. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and be the driving force behind our commitment to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
What you will be doing:
Ensure all incoming customer enquiries are dealt with quickly or escalate where necessary, maintaining response times within agreed timescales
Capture and update customer master data to create quotations and ensure a seamless transition from quotation requests to order conversion
Build relationships with customers, communicating by phone or email. Also answer customer questions via webchat and promote the webshop to our customers
Ensure that controlled substance requests for customers are processed correctly, adhering to existing policies in close collaboration with our Controlled Substances and Compliance team
Collaborate with other teams (order entry, sales and other departments) to create outstanding customer experiences and provide valuable feedback
What you bring:
Customer orientated mindset: Ideally some experience in customer service or inside sales roles and an understanding of CRM systems and supply chain management processes.
Organisational skills: Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail.
Communication: Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
Team spirit: A team player who can also work well independently.
Bilingual: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
Aninterest in chemistry or science would be a great advantage.
