Description
My client is one of the largest pharmaceutical businesses globally who understand the human story that underpins the success of the business.
Responsibility for accurate and timely completion and filing of statutory accounts within 8 UK legal entities.Supporting month, quarter and year end processes for selected legal entities linked to the statutory responsibilities.
Responsibility and involvement in corporation tax, VAT review and general tax compliance.
Ensure accuracy and timely financial information, under US/ local GAAP reporting.
Reviewing month end financials within local finance. Identifying and analysing key performance variances, investigating and documenting causes and future impacts; understanding performance and identifying any errors.
Work with team on trial balance trend analysis reports and review to provide a good level of understanding on the financials being reported.
Work within wider finance team on projects and manage external relationships (for audit purposes).A successful Financial Accountant should have:
~ Relevant certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
~Proven experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry is highly advantageous
~ A competitive salary range of £57,000 - £63,000 (GBP) per annum
