Our retail banking client has an exciting opportunity for a full time and permanent Degree Apprenticeship Programme Specialist to work onsite in Birmingham (flexible hybrid) with their Emerging Talent team.

You will work closely with the wider Learning and Development community, particularly the Emerging Talent Development team, to develop and deliver an exceptional on-Programme experience for degree apprentices.

What does a "day in the life" of my new team look like?

You'll develop an onprogramme experience and development strategy that helps to build a compelling and consistent Degree Apprenticeship brand for the retail banking client.
You'll design and implement a calendar of development activity that brings together degree apprentices.
You'll maintain and develop excellent, mutually beneficial relationships with key external stakeholders such as delivery providers.
You'll build and develop relationships with the wider Emerging Talent, Learning and Development team and key business stakeholders.
You'll ensure the Degree Apprentices are developing the right skills and competencies in line with the apprenticeship criteria and business future skill needs
You'll work to compliance, meeting the requirements of Ofsted, the ESFA, Institute for Apprentices and all other relevant bodies when developing and delivering apprenticeship activity.
You'll maintain appropriate records and share accurate data as required by the business and regulating bodies.
You'll arrange for lanyards and laptops to be ordered and ready for the Degree Apprentices joining the business.
You'll work closely with training providers and functional managers to ensure degree apprentices progress is in line with the delivery schedule and supporting apprentices where required.
You'll support the degree apprentices and business through all the stages of apprenticeship to ensure all the apprentices successfully complete their apprenticeships.

What do I need to succeed in this role?

_Must haves:
_

Capability to develop understanding of Degree Apprenticeship rules and regulations.
You've built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships with stakeholders based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same.
You can work autonomously and use initiative to undertake a wide range of tasks, asking questions are required.
You've got experience in developing and supporting talent.
Knowledge of development strategies for apprentices and knowledge of attraction, recruitment and development strategies for nonapprentices.
You can work as part of a larger team and be flexible to changing demands and priorities.
You can manage a varied and challenging workload and have strong prioritisation skills

_Nice to haves:
_

Experience working with an Apprenticeships training provider.
Some previous programme management in either the apprenticeship or graduate sphere.

Who will I be working with?
The team is made up of the Degree Apprenticeship Lead, 2 Programme Specialists, and 1 coordinator. This leads to a very intimate team who cross collaborate, support each other, and communicate frequently. You'll also work with closely with wider teams across the business. You'll also be a part of the wider AMS emerging talent team.

Today we partner with a portfolio of 19 clients globally and will have supported almost 26,000 hires through our outsourcing services and completed 17 advisory projects consulting on early careers strategy, process, technologies, assessment and brand and attraction in the season.
