    Description

    We are looking for a passionate Senior Brand Development Manager to join the INKEY family. Someone with a collaborative, strategic, consumer-first approach that thrives in a fast paced, agile environment.

    Primary Purpose: Working with the Brand Director to shape the brands future plans, strengthening & accelerating the brands intention, portfolio management and growth & the innovation pipeline.

    The role manages two BM's and one JBM who have ownership of categories within the portfolio, inclusive of core, innovation, sets, samples etc The SBMs role is to oversee the team, guiding and ensuring all plans ladder up to total brand and portfolio strategy and aligning with the Brand Director. The SBM is also responsible for ownership of wider projects and cross category portfolio management (pricing, discontinuations, packaging updates etc)

    A key role in a central function, cross functional collaboration, strong working relationships and stakeholder management are a key part of the role. Being a brand guardian and leading cross-functional collaboration to ensure that plans align to global brand strategy while also best supporting regional needs for growth is key. This role partners closely with the Product Development, Global Marketing, Sales & Creative teams to drive Brand Strategy across all touchpoints.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Brand Strategy:

    • Oversee total Brand Strategy rollout for 1-2 years in partnership with the Brand Director
    • Own brand performance tracking, diagnostics & recommend corrective action plan to Brand Director
    • Ensuring we remain consumer first in everything that we do, being clear on 'who, what and where'
    • Work with the insights team to develop strong actionable insights to drive relevance with consumers
    • Go to contact for commercial and sales teams - considering regional insights into the wider global plan
    • Coordinating Internal Sales Team meetings to equip them with the knowledge of the strategy & brand calendar to support their conversations with Retailers.
    • Encourage cross-functional collaboration & partnership to embed the INKEY Strategy across every touchpoint
    • Identify and maintain brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints, ensuring that messaging and visuals align with the brand's core values and positioning.
    • Own brand-wide projects, such as packaging refreshes, partnering with category owners for insights

    Brand Portfolio:

    • Support the development of the brand & categories, supporting the team in owning their categories/areas of the total brand plan – including: category ownership, strategy rollout, commercial tracking, portfolio planning, NPD projects
    • Top line commercial ownership of to ensure growth of the business is inline with strategy & on track
    • Lead the ongoing management of the current brand portfolio, including building the range architecture in partnership with BD
    • Identify key needs and gaps in portfolio – from inception to ideation and concept
    • Oversee all NPD projects as key escalation point for brand team as well as ensuring all projects are kept on time & any hurdles overcome accordingly.
