Are you a registered professional or newly qualified with a passion and experience of working within Mental Health Services? The Poole Core CAMHS Team are looking for an enthusiastic Community Practitioner to join their supportive team.


As a CAMHS Community Practitioner, you will deliver a variety of care and intensive evidence-based treatment interventions, on a one-to-one, family and group basis to promote recovery, appropriate in partnership with children, young people and families/carers.

You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and partner agencies providing a high quality of care ensuring high standards of clinical practice are met.

We'll make sure that you gain the right expertise through our Clinical Competency Framework, we'll guide and support you, offer appropriate further training with excellent clinical supervision and line management support.


This post is a full time role covering Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00, flexible working may be considered and driver is essential for this role.


You will hold a clinical caseload including the CCO role, offer evidenced based interventions in line with our care pathways and take part in our duty rota.


You will make judgements about appropriate models of treatment, often involving highly complex issues and situations and thus requiring analysis, comparison and interpretation of a range of options.


You will undertake mental health assessments in a variety of settings including home, clinic, schools and acute settings and ensure appropriate treatment plans are initiated.
