- You will support the water network team in the day to day running of the water network, boreholes and reservoir areas on the estate, including a mixture of manual and office based tasks as required.
- You will share our responsibility with the network team for ensuring that we provide water to all commercial and domestic customers from our private network.
- You will work with the network team to deliver multiple administration tasks from developing documents and quotations to ensuring records are updated and maintained.
- You will contribute to the delivery of all reactive emergency repairs and planned maintenance ensuring compliance to all water regulations by a combination of leading project teams and direct mechanical labour as required.
- You will support with any water quality issues reported by our customers and attend customer premises to carry out quality testing when required.
- You will have demonstrable experience and a solid understanding of networks, water legislation and standards while being mechanically minded, with an understanding of potential problems and risks on the network.
- You will have strong water industry experience, ideally with a qualification in Road and Street Works Traffic Act (NRSWRA). Water pipe fitting experience would be highly advantageous.
- You will have the ability to implement maintenance and monitoring procedures for conducting asset inspections and surveys, and support in new connections, diversions, refurbishment/replacement of existing assets.
- You will have a moderate level in computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel and Word) as a minimum.
- You will possess a strong focus on health and safety in the workplace. You should have knowledge of routine maintenance procedures and associated safety practices.
