    Job Description

    The Head of Proposals Content will lead a team of proposals writers in generating compelling new business proposals and client retention material, to support LGIM's commercial objectives globally. This will require:

    • Strategic vision
    • Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills

    • A deep understanding of financial markets, investment themes and products.

    You will:

    Develop and execute a strategy for proposals content, while demonstrating expertise and leading through example

    Lead a team of proposals professionals in generating compelling new business proposals and client retention material, to support LGIM's commercial objectives:

    • Develop the function into a best-in-class, global proposals capability, covering LGIM's full product set and client channels
    • Manage the team's proposal pipeline and prioritise tasks to meet client deadlines
    • Track the performance of LGIM's proposals activity, providing regular reports and analysis, with the aim of continuous improvement

    Provide strategic guidance and foster career development and contribute to a kind, collaborative and inclusive workplace culture

    Adopt a OneLGIM approach to core messaging, prioritise proposal content resources across the Chief of Staff function and deploy writers to the areas of most value:

    • To this end, collaborate with LGIM's client content function to enhance the quality of output, while ensuring messages are compelling and consistent
    • Review and edit proposal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency and clarity
    • Ensure the Qvidian library of proposal content remains stocked with fresh material

    Enhance governance, prioritisation and quality control of output to mitigate financial and reputation risks, by monitoring and addressing industry and regulatory changes that impact team activity

    Collaborate with senior stakeholders, with a focus on Distribution and Investments, to guide activity and meet commercial needs

    Partner with colleagues across the Marketing team to generate good client and business outcomes, with a focus on colleagues who oversee consultant databases

    Ensure compliance with all Consumer Duty accountabilities, including the responsibility to produce and maintain clear, fair, and non-misleading marketing collateral and client-facing material. You'll ensure that divisional standards are upheld, and any concerns are promptly escalated to senior management for appropriate action

    Demonstrate a great risk and conduct culture to support customer and client outcomes, as well as appropriately manage business risk, escalating when appropriate

    Manage the team in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, including the Partnership Agreement, so that the team's business objectives are achieved consistently.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    BA/BS in English (or a comparable Arts or Languages degree), Economics, Finance or Marketing – highly desirable

    CFA / IMC – highly desirable

    Knowledge:

    Deep understanding of asset management

    Experience:

    Delivery of RFPs.

    Leadership
