Job Title:
Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant


Location:
Oldham, UK


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with challenging behaviours in a classroom setting
  • Developing and implementing behaviour management plans
  • Providing oneonone support for students as needed
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote positive behaviour
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress and reporting to relevant staff members
  • Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in behaviour support

Requirements:


  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviours
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • A positive and patient approach to working with students
  • Must have a DBS check or willing to have one
  • Must have a relevant qualification in teaching assistant or similar field
