Mid / Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Health Tech Start Up

We are seeking a talented and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join a a rapidly expanding health-tech start-up, who are looking to be number 1 in the industry in the next 5 years.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a critical role in architecting, building, testing, and delivering a new and improved running engine that generates adaptive training plans for tens of thousands of active users.

Machine Learning Engineer Skills:

• Strong Python Programming
• A deep understanding of designing and implementing complex algorithms, data science and machine learning.
• You should have at least 1 year of professional experience in data science and machine learning, or hold a PhD or Masters degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Maths, Physics, or Engineering.
• Confident in working in a fast paced environment and looking to take ownership over features

Machine Learning Engineer Nice to Haves:

• Experience with deployment, release cycles, or CI/CD, has experience monitoring models and algorithms in production, has experience with serverless architectures, AWS, and open-source contributions.
• Experienced delivering features end-to-end, from architecture design and building through to releasing, testing, and supporting.
• Strong interest in health/fitness technologies is a big bonus

Machine Learning Engineer Role:

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will collaborate closely with coaches to deliver their expertise to users and use a data-led approach to influence algorithms.

You will be part of a highly-skilled Cross-Functional Engineering Team, working closely with engineering, product, and coaching teams to shape the future of our platform. You should have a pragmatic mindset, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the confidence to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment with a highly-skilled engineering team.
