- maintain a high professional standard of nursing care in adherence to all Practice protocols, policies and guidelines, as well as to provide nursing assistance to the GPs and other members of the primary healthcare team. It is essential that the nurse works within their own level of competency and own scope of practice.
- Essential skills and qualifications include, a Foundation degree as a Registered Nurse, NMC Registration, experience of working in a primary care, competent in cervical screening, childhood immunisations, vaccines, staple and suture removal, basic wound care and experience in SystmOne.
