Trafford Council is looking for an advanced practitioner for their Children with Disabilities / complex needs Team.

This is an exciting full time and hybrid role and an opportunity to join a well-established team for a competitive hourly rate of £37 per hour.

Key responsibilities:

Initiating and implementing Child Protection Plans
Reviewing Financial payments received by kinship carers/ or carers granted Residence Orders/Special Guardianship Orders
Organising/managing packages of support
Arranging short breaks
Attending court and giving evidence when required
Completion of Care Proceedings

Requirements for the role:

Be SWE registered
Hold a recognised social work qualification and have at least 2year post qualifying experience.
Experience as an advanced practitioner in a CWD team preferred.
Experience in a CWD team essential
