We have an exciting opportunity at our Wythenshawe Campus to join our Sport, Public Services & Care Professions Department as a Health and Social Care Teacher on a permanent, part time (21 hours per week) basis.
As a Health and Social Care Teacher you will provide supervision of your curriculum area, ensuring that you meet budget, quality, and operational targets.
You will deliver high quality, learner-focused education providing a secure and friendly environment in order for your students to succeed.
In your role you will plan, lead, and develop the curriculum area within the establishment to ensure compliance with the national curriculum framework, the integration of functional skills, best practice, and quality targets.
To be successful in this role, you will need:Certificate of education or PGCE
Current and valid industry specialism
Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation)
Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification
English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above
Experience of teaching in FE college and history of working in a relevant health and social care fieldIn return you will benefit from an excellent package including:
