UpNorth Group Ltd are an award winning, market-leading group of specialist building services based on the Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead.

We are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join our newly created QHSE & HR Shared Service.

The role of QHSE & HR Coordinator will be to support the QHSE and HR Manager to deliver and maintain a knowledgeable and efficient QHSE & HR service to the business by way of advising, coaching, communicating and training.


The role requires a self-motivated, committed individual who has excellent organisation skills, proficient with Microsoft Office package and is able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with stakeholders of all levels.

Previous experience of working within a QHSE, HR or shared service environment is desirable, but not essential.

Key duties will include (but not limited to):

QHSE

  • Maintaining & managing training matrix
  • Collate monthly H&S report information
  • PPE stock control
  • HSE signage stock control
  • Accident/Incident reporting and log management
  • High risk register management
  • QHSE document control
  • Assist in maintaining IMS management system
  • General admin duties
  • Help maintain accreditations and certifications

HR

  • Provide first line support to the business, escalating any employee relations matters to the Group HR Manager
  • Support the HR Manager with management of the full employee life cycle in line with JML (joiners, movers and leavers) procedure
  • Maintain accurate HR records, via Bamboo HR and electronic database
  • Support HR Manager with absence management procedures
  • Support HR and Department Managers with recruitment process (advertising, liaising with agencies, selection process and interview arrangements)
  • Assist with company employment reference procedure requesting and responding
  • Assist with production of Monthly HR reporting
  • Assist HR Manager with the management of the company benefit & reward scheme (annual leave, long service rewards, additional leave policies etc)
  • Partake in note taking duties during formal HR meetings/hearings
  • Issue of Business Communications, Techsafes and Bulletins via Bamboo HR and manage acceptance

Salary:
£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
