At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier We're expanding, so we're looking for a Head of Service to mobilise and establish our new Integrated Health and Wellbeing Service as an outstanding provision for the residents of Nottingham.

As Head of Service, you will lead our talented team to deliver exceptional programmes and to develop vibrant, effective partnerships.

You will be responsible for delivering agreed contractual targets, improving the standards of service for our customers, providing our teams with an exceptional employee experience and for developing long lasting relationships with a range of stakeholders and commissioners.

A typical day as a
Head of Service_ _might include:

  • Leading your team to maintain the ethos and success of Thrive Tribe by managing relationships within your team, stakeholders, commissioners and clients in line with the organisation's culture and values
  • Working with our employee experience team to grow our great culture, engagement and moments that matter for our people
  • Providing strategical leadership for the contract to ensure we deliver contractual targets
  • Developing Pathway Leader's capabilities to ensure they deliver exceptional operational leadership, talent management and establish a succession programme that underpins growth and success
  • Promote Thrive Tribe's entire portfolio of digital, remote and face to face products to deliver client led programmes
  • Creating service budgets, delivering full profit & loss expectations, devolving budgetary responsibility to your Pathway Leads
  • Working with Thrive Tribe's Business Development Manager on the formation of national and regional tenders
  • Representing Thrive Tribe on Public Health Strategic Groups within your regions
  • Working collaboratively with the Thrive Tribe Central Team, to ensure the delivery of an outstanding contract at all times.
  • Ensuring that all reporting and performance data exceeds expectations, and is provided to commissioners on time
  • Contributing to the success of Thrive Tribe by working with colleagues across all of our services on new projects and service developments we're always looking to share knowledge and resources

To get this gig


You might have delivery experience of managing public or private sector contracts and have an interest or knowledge in supporting clients to make healthy lifestyle choices.

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a flexible and supportive approach to leading the programme.
