Salary:
£ 34,000 - £ 36,600 p.a. + benefits (including shift allowance)

Suitable For:
CNC Miller, CNC Milling, CNC Turner, CNC Turning, CNC Machinist, CNC Setter, CNC Operator, Setter / Operator.

The Role
Producing high quality precision machined components to tight tolerances

Setting and operating a range of CNC machines

Able to make fine adjustments to CNC machines to produce accurate components and complete the manufacturing process.

Checking the quality of components product throughout the batch cycle

Recording quantities and time taken to machine parts

Carry out regular maintenance of the machines as per company schedules.

Ensure high standards of quality to exceed your customers' expectations.

Working to tight tolerances

Maintain and promote safe working practices and policies whilst engaged in your daily role.

The Person
Experience setting and operating a variety of CNC 3/4/5 axis Milling and/or Turning machines

Must be proficient in using Fanuc/ Siemens machine controls

Experienced producing high-quality components to tight drawing tolerances

Minimum 5 years CNC Milling/Turning experience

Must be able to work 3 shift pattern

Apprentice trained or time served engineer

Experience working in precision engineering environment (aerospace, energy, automotive)

Understanding of continuous improvement philosophies.
