    We are currently recruiting to an Old Age Consultant Psychiatrist position at Woodbury Unit, based at James Lane, Leytonstone, E11 1NR
    5wte Senior Trainee, 1wte Core/GP Trainee, 1wte Foundation Year Trainee, and 0.Why Acute and Rehabilitation Directorate (ARD)?

    ARD is proud of being front runners in its delivery of safe services in the least restrictive way, with well-developed Home Treatment Teams and Crises Services and a small, high quality bed base.

    Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to older adult people with mental health needs, within the inpatient setting.

    Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
    Work directly with older adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external mental health providers and acute hospitals

    Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement.

    Work alongside 5wte Senior Trainee, 1wte Core/GP Trainee, 1wte Foundation Year Trainee, and 0.Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.

    Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

    This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
