    Description

    The Desktop Provision Service team build and deploy laptops and provide second line hardware support to mobile devices as a result of incidents. They also build, install and provide second line support forworkstations, and other desktop equipment, e.g. thin clients, printers, monitors, peripherals but this role will be primarily focussed on laptop support.

    What you will be doing:
    • Prepare and build mobile devices to customer requirements
    • Fault diagnosis and repair of mobile devices
    • Reaccreditation of mobile devices
    • Secure wiping of laptops and USB sticks

    What you'll bring:

    • Experience as a laptop/desktop hardware support engineer
    • A keen eye and interest for computers
    • Strong communication and analytical skills
    • Strong customer service skills, focussed on meeting customer needs

    It would be great if you had:

    • Knowledge and experience with ITSM/ITIL Reference Model – preferred
